Luna has released her first solo album with the title track 'Free Somebody' and I cannot stop listening to it!  Everybody loves a good feel good pop song and that's exactly what it is. However, I am not reviewing the song in this post, but the outfit and how to achieve the same look without spending £225 on that DHL t-shirt.

Firstly, because the main feature of this outfit is the bright and bold statement t-shirt you want to find something similar. This doesn't have to have anything on it at all but the point of this outfit is centred around some sort of logo or symbol at least. 

To keep with the simplicity, the rest of the outfit is very easy to achieve. Team your top with some black shorts (I think Luna actually wears running shorts but denim is fine) and some block heels. This outfit has taken different elements of 80's fashion but brought them up to date with the current trends. 

Finally, put in your daring dangling earrings, some pretty pink lipstick and flattering false eyelashes and you're ready to go out and free somebody. 

I absolutely adore this look, do you?

May Favourites | First Half Of The Year Review

As if it's June already? It feels like this year is flying by and soon I'll be doing an end of year review again, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Here are my favourite things from the first half of 2016 so far.

Burt's Bees Hand Salve - £10.99

If you've been following my blog for a while then you'll know that I get dry hands often so I'm always searching for good quality hand treatments and Burt's Bees did not disappoint. I've only been applying it at night time (mostly because it's a bit pricey and I don't want to use it up really quickly) but within 3 days my very flaky hands became smooth and hydrated. 

Since, my hands have gone through phases of getting a bit drier but they have never once been as bad as they have been.

Nivea Lip Fruity Shine Watermelon - £1.99

I had been searching for a lip balm that didn't have too much colour in it and I came across this one and it's perfect! I like to wear it on top of a lip tint during the day to add a bit more colour to it. This is the second one in the Nivea Fruity Shine range I have bought so go and have a look at the other colours they have to offer too.

Simple Spotless Skin Rapid Action Spot Zapper - £5.49

For a few months, my skin started to break out in small white head spots and I tried a few spot treatments that did absolutely nothing so when I used this and it worked I was super happy. It initially reduces the inflammation of your spot and within a day it's dramatically reduced. I am usually left with a small mark where the spot was for a few days but that's fine with me. And since my breakouts keep happening, I'm very glad I have this.

Soap and Glory The Fab Pore 2-In-1 Mask and Peel - £10

I have done a review on this which you can read here. Though I found it isn't actually a peeling mask, it is a refreshing mask that truly makes your pores feel like they are breathing! I love using it once a week to help keep my face as clear as I can. 

Great Modern Artists by Andy Tuohy

I bought this from my trip to Liverpool where I visited Tate Modern. I love the design on it and I've been using it for all the pens and pencils I had laying around my bedroom. I would love to take this to college to show it off but everything I take there looses it's quality somehow, but I'm happy enough with it fitting in with the aesthetics in my bedroom.

Singing in the Rain

My grandparents lent me this DVD and it is such a good feel good and entertaining film. It's great to watch on a rainy afternoon when you're bored. The talent the actors have is on a completely different level to how it is nowadays and I was shocked at how actual humans could do some of the dances that they did. Because it's quite an old film, it's not very expensive so I would recommend going to buy it.

BABOSARANG Katcha and Chandy in Wonderland Diary

Unfortunately, this diary is no longer available but BABOSARANG (you can look at their range on YesStyle.com) have loads of great stationary items so have a look at their other diaries. I have loved the art and cuteness that the diary has and I would seriously be lost without it because I am using it daily.

Posh Pocket Left Brain/Right Brain : 50 Puzzles to Change the Way You Think - £5.99

My college course means that I'm not doing a lot of brain work and, for some odd reason, I missed my high school days where I was challenged in a range of subjects. I'm sure I can't be the only one who has thought this... Nonetheless, I bought this pocket puzzle book which has really challenged me and helped me to think in ways that I haven't done for a while.

Akdong Musician - Spring Vol.1

One of my favourite South Korean artists, Akdong Musician, have finally come back with a new album and it certainly has not disappointed me. As usual, they have brought a range of different styles and moods making it perfect to listen to at this time of year. I love listening to music that matches the weather. "Haughty Girl" is good for listening to in the rain whilst "How People Move" is a really upbeat song that I like dancing to alone in my room. Seriously, have a listen to their album.

Lee Hi : Seoulite Full Album Review

Seeing as I reviewed the first part of Lee Hi's Seoulite album, I thought I might as well review the second half. I'm going back on what I said in that post too because THESE songs are better than she has released before! This half also has songs and styles that suit her voice a lot better.

1. My Star

Lee Hi is channelling the 1960's Mo-town vibes so well through this song and I have had this stuck in my head since I first heard it! The song is so cheerful and happy and is a good tune for the spring season too. Like a few of her songs on the 1st half, this is really easy to listen to but still has more exiting parts too, such a when 'the boys' and 'the girls' join in.

2. Blues (희망고문)

Another song with 1960's vibes, which Lee Hi does so well. This is a lot slower and a bit more heartbreaking than 'My Star' but still has a great beat and rhythm to it. The harmonies in this song really compliment her voice perfectly too. 

3. Passing By (스쳐 간다)

If you didn't know, I play guitar and this song really got to me because the melody the guitar plays is really nice. The style of this is very different from the previous two songs and I would even say it has a little bit of a country style to it. It's very gentle and also very easy to listen to. This song is actually the only song on the album that the lyrics were written by Lee Hi and it was composed by her too.

4. Up All Night (밤샘) (Feat. Tablo)

If I'm honest, I thought this was a new version of 'Breathe' when it first started because it's also ballad, though gentler, with a piano. It also features Tablo, who wrote and composed the song, with loving but sad lyrics. In comparison to 'Breathe', I very much prefer this song because it's a bit more interesting to listen to.

5. Video (안봐도 비디오) (Feat. Bobby of iKon)

This is another song that's constantly been in my head because of it's super catchy chorus. I would say that this is another energetic yet easy to listen to song but Bobby's rapping is a bit aggressive in comparison to the rest of the song. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but it does change the overall tone of the song and gives it more edge.  

6. Missing U

I love listening to this song to feel chilled out which is helped with the jazz organ and the classical piano riffs in the chorus. Even though it's quite slow, it's got quite a bit of energy behind it, especially thanks to Lee Hi's vocals offering quite a lot of power in the chorus.

I give Seoulite 5/5, just like the first half of the album. Lee Hi has released another half album with a high standard of songs that have an easy going theme and a good quality of sound. The melodies, harmonies and rhythms of every song on this album are incredible and I absolutely love it. This half of Seoulite is definitely my favourite and I can now actually say that I got a bit bored of a few of the songs on the first half after a while. Again, well done Tablo, DJ Tukutz and Lee Hi

Oh My Girl (오마이걸) Liar Liar MV : Outfit Inspiration

Oh My Girl have a new song called 'Liar Liar' and, like any fashion concious being, the outfits the girls wore really caught my eye. I loved the outfits from the teaser pictures and the music video (which has great aesthetics can I say?). In the MV they mostly wore tops and skirts but I can't lie that loved the top and trouser outfits that were in the teaser images too. Here is some inspired outfits from the cute and fresh concept.

Oh My Girl (오마이걸) Liar Liar - The Top & Trouser Edit

Let's start with the top and trouser edit! This look will take zero effort to pull off because all you need is a striped top and some great fitting jeans. Alternatively, you can style your tee with casual dungarees for an even more effortless look whilst still keeping that fresh and simple vibe.

Oh My Girl (오마이걸) Liar Liar  - The Top & Skirt Edit

If you'd prefer the top and skirt outfits that Oh My Girl wore then it's possibly even simpler! With a high waisted skirt you could wear any kind of top. To work this look, tuck in a top, jumper or shirt to your skirt and you've done it. I love the blue Pure Cotton Frill Striped Blouse from Marks and Spencer's that I've included in the picture above and one of the girls wears a similar one in the video.

Something's to keep in mind are: 

1. Don't make your outfit bold. You want to either have a pale coloured skirt or top at least, don't have a deep blue skirt with a bold red top - that's not the point of this look.

2. Keep it simple. It seriously is just a top and skirt or trouser matter, only add one piece of jewellery and wear skin coloured tights.

Lee Hi - Seoulite : Half Album Review

Lee Hi is back after what feel like forever and she's brought an incredible album that I've had on repeat non stop. In my opinion, all of these songs are better than anything she has released before (although 'It's Over' was a good tune) and it's no surprise with it being produced by Tablo, DJ Tukutz and herself. Here's my review:

1. World Tour (비행) (Feat. MINO of WINNER)

What a perfect song! I've been really into easy listening songs lately but they still need a bit of excitement and variety in them or the song can get boring very quickly so MINO's rapping was a cherry on top for me. Easy and flowing melodies from the chorus and the 'don't think about it' part at the end has me humming this song whenever I'm not listening to it.

2. Hold My Hand (손잡아 줘요)

Another easy and relaxing song with jazzy vibes, especially with Hi's voice being a little raspy. This is fun and uplifting which matches perfect with it's vintage style. I love the harmonies that play a good part in conveying those old school vibes. This is probably my favourite song on the album.

3. Breathe (한숨)

This is where the album takes a turn from being bouncy and light hearted, though the lyrics are still uplifting and sweet. This ballad seems to be either a hit or a miss with most people and I'm still undecided. Written by SHINee's Jonghyun, the pitch of the chorus makes me feel a bit uneasy and I'm not so sure that Hi should be singing it because it doesn't suit her voice. Other than that, I must say I will probably listen to this song the least because it's a ballad that could have a bit more to it for more emotion to come out.

4. Official (Feat. Incredivle)

We've fully come out of the bouncy and smiley songs and we're into the hip hop now, as expected on a YG artist's album. It starts off with what I thought was going to be a much lighter sound but then it slows and goes into a heavier beat. I love Incredivle's rap and I think it adds that extra something to the track making it an instant favourite for me.

5. Fxxk Wit Us (Feat. Dok2)

Lee Hi says the F word too obviously and too much for me to play this song out loud when my family is at home but that hasn't stopped me.... Hi is great at having a cocky but cool sound in her voice which I think is conveyed perfectly throughout the whole song. It's a great addition to the feeling of the song too as if she knows that no one can fxxk wit her and her man.

I give Seoulite 5/5. Recently, I have felt like there hasn't been many songs that I really love and that I would play continuously but this album has broken the trend because it has (almost) everything that I could ask for in an album. From light hearted cute songs that aren't babyish to the more fierce hip hop songs that don't try too hard. Well done Lee Hi, Tablo and DJ Tukutz.

Red Velvet - The Red : Album Review

How long has it been since I have done an album review? Too long for me to leave it any longer that's for sure!! And because I have been really loving Red Velvet's 1st Album, The Red, I thought I would review it.

1. Dumb Dumb

The title song! Probably my favourite song they've done, it's got such a good tune in the chorus and the repetitive 'dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb' that makes the song really fun also makes the song so addictive.

Even though the rap parts really do not show good rapping and there is no part that has incredible vocals, sometimes songs don't need them to deliver what the producers or artists want to and the song works great with what is has. I will most likely be listening to this for the next week none stops.

2. Huff n Puff

Again, another really good tune that's really fun which is common for Red Velvet and I can't help but feel like this song, along with the concept as dolls, is a bit Christmassy. Am I the only one getting that vibe? Like I know it's the next major holiday after halloween but maybe the beginning of September is a bit soon for Christmas vibes, you know?

Anyway, back to the song. The electronic and hip hop beat is quite odd but because it works so well (for me, anyway) it really makes this song as lovable as it is.

3. Campfire

Campfire has a mellow-er feel but is still upbeat. If I'm honest, I would have made this song a lot more mellow and laid back if I was the producer for this song. Don't get me wrong - I love it the way it is but because it is a song about being at a campfire and the surroundings with feelings of love and I don't think the song works well with the lyrics and feelings that it's trying to portray. As someone who studies music and wants to be a music producer, I feel very strongly about these types of things so ... please excuse me....

4. Red Dress

The verses of this song have really got it going for them! They are killing it! The chorus, however, is a different story. It's OK but it doesn't really compare to the verses which are so lively, upbeat and full of expression. If I'm honest it is a bit boring and I remember feeling a bit disappointed when I first heard it because it was a bit like an anti climax really.

5. Oh Boy

This is a song that I think will grow on me. I listen to it and I know it's good because I can hear the beat and the vocals enveloping around me and make me feel good but it doesn't stand out as much as other songs do on this album.

6. Lady's Room

Now please don't hate me for what I'm about to say. This entire review is my opinion and I would respect you if you said that 'Dumb Dumb' or 'Huff n Puff' were not taking your fancy. Lady's Room really has nothing to it and I don't really see a point in it. Because of this it reminded me a bit of Girls' Generation's 'Party' as it felt like it was just created because they needed a song. Sorry .....

7. Time Slip

Opposite to Red Dress, I really love the chorus but the verses are not so good, however parts of them are. This is because the chorus and verses have different styles and almost belong in different genres - the verses are hip hop based whilst the chorus is a slow pop song. And let's just mention the harmonies because they are very nice to listen to!

8. Don't U Wait No More

Part of me likes this song and part of me doesn't. It's an easy beat with adventure of vocals ... maybe a bit too adventurous a few too many times, though. The easiness of the song is likeable but the repetitiveness is plain and the toe-curling vocals (at times) is not.

9. Day 1

This takes me back to kpop back in the good old days. Am I the only one who got this? I'm thinking Early Orange Caramel and IU style. It's fun and doesn't have anything too over powering (I'm talking about style or instruments). It could maybe have something more too it to make it more memorable but I'm not sure what that something would be. Nevertheless, it's a good song without this secret something that my concious is telling me it should have.

10. Cool World

Somehow I listened to this song before I even watched the 'Dumb Dumb' music video (I don't really know how either). And though I may want to call this song a bit boring, it is actually a right tune! The melodies and rhythm that it contains wraps well with the beat and instruments. It's not a song that I could get up and dance to but it is a song that I would listen to when I'm on the bus or walking to college - that says something!!

Secret - I'm In Love MV Inspired Oufits

Secret finally have comeback with a sexy comeback!! They have 2 concepts however within it, innocent and pure concept with almost completely white outfits and a dark and sexy concept wearing black outfits. I have done a few outfit ideas inspired by the 2 concepts.

These outfits are quite plain to make the focus of the outfit on the white. The gold (or silver if you wanted) compliments the white well and adds more purity to the white outfits. Sunhwa wears an ear cuff at one point to add more creativity to the originally plain look.

The main point is to metaphorically show that you are innocent and pure through the fact that white is usually used to show it. Because the outfits are plain it puts all the attention onto that.

These outfits have lace to make them more dark, sexy and also a mysterious and mischievous feel to the outfit. To make it even more dark and a bit gothic, Hyosung wears a choker necklace in one outfit so I have included one in this set.

The main point of this concept is obviously to be sexy and dark but that is helped not only by the colour but the clothing is tight-fitting and sometimes more revealing, but as you can see in the picture of Jieun above, it doesn't have to be revealing at all to create the concept.

Some outfits that I have used in the photo sets are designer brands and/or are very expensive but these are basically just examples and inspiration from them outfits so if you were to try these outfits it may be best to look for something cheaper.

Album Review: Mamamoo - Hello

I loved Mamamoo's songs from before their debut and now that they have debuted and released their album I can't stop listening to it. Their sound is a lot different from other kpop idol groups and their vocals are really incredible.

1. Hello

This is an intro song so it's only 43 seconds but I think if it was to be a full song it would be really great, the harmonies are really good and help to give the song a sexy type of feel. There isn't anything extravagant happening with the vocals because the song is quite slow and is quiet which again makes the song quite sexy.

2. Mr Ambiguous 

I have been listening to this so much since it came out. Like their other songs, it is jazzy but this has a very up beat rhythm. Similar to other kpop groups they have found a way to put rap in a genre that is completely different to rap but it also fits really well even though it is just a short bit. This is the song they debuted with and it was a very good choice as it also shows off their great vocals especially at the end.

3. Heeheehaheho (Feat. Geeks) 

The title makes it sound as though it could possibly be a fun song but it has a laid back vibe to it. The rapping compliments the girl's singing very well. I haven't read the English lyrics but it sounds like it could be a song about how they're happy now they've broken up with someone? This is one of my favourite things in kpop that, even if you don't speak Korean, you can usually understand the emotion the singer or rapper is trying to communicate, something I hardly notice in western music.

4. Baton Touch

Baton Touch is another upbeat song with a good beat and still has the jazz genre happening but it is a lot more jazzy than the others and has an almost 1920's jazz theme to it but still sounds modern. Their vocals are shown in a different way at some points proving their talent even more by doing short and quieter phrases.

5.I Do Me (Hwa Sa Solo)

Out of place with the rest of the album, this is pretty much a hip hop song. The rapping is really good and she shows a few different skills such as quickening the pace and also rapping slow with style which some idol rappers cannot do. This song, to me, has a similar style to Teach Me How To Dougie, mostly because of the beat and the main part being repeated.

6. Don't Be Happy (Feat. Bumkey)

This is not as jazzy as the others but still has elements but is more acoustic than the others with less instruments to help bring out the vocals. Some parts also seem to have elements of tango or rumba music, this may sound odd but this also helps to add a demanding and fiery feeling to the music and the vocals. Bumkey has a really good voice which goes very well with these types of songs and his voice and vibe that he brings to the song compliments Mamamoo's vocals well too.

I hope you enjoyed, I feel like I have written quite a lot about the songs but the album is really impressive and the album is £3.49 for all 6 songs. I recommend you listen to some songs if you haven't yet.

Block B - Jackpot :- Music Video Review

Block B are back with 'Jackpot' so I have decided to review their MV!

There's 7 members, why are there only 6? They also seem to still have a similar concept to their last one, I'm wondering if it's because they're now with Seven Seasons and they're creating this type of image for them because that's more what they want?? (I don't know, just a guess. Unless it's all supposed to link???)

Notice it says '7 7 7', I know Taeil has a tattoo of this and saw this opportunity of using the lucky 7 because of the '7 albums, 7 members and 7 seasons'. Anyway, there is a scary atmosphere of the girl walking up to them, along with the creepy piano playing behind it. Question - why is the girl walking up to 6 clowns at night? Whatever the reason is she will obviously that in the future she must stay away from strange places after what happens in the mv.

Here's the 7th member, he scared the girl and she fainted to the ground (is there any wonder with the mask?)

Now the song begins, like this, and I question why I stan Block B (but what is P.O doing and why does Jaehyo have that weird bird?). Keeping with this particular concept, the song beings with a piano tune a bit like what would be played at an arcade during the 1940's before the actual song begins and Zico shouts to let us all know that a Block B song has begun. He introduces the '7th album, 7 members, 7 seasons' which caught everyone's attention I think...(I saw so many gif's of it on tumblr)

Zico starts his rap (which, can I say, is always on point) with an unusual scene, he has the girl they have kidnapped dressed as a doll and is also sat on a desk in front of her interrogating her. I haven't seen the English translation yet but I don't think the English lyrics 'get rich or die' are aimed at her ....

It becomes a bit strange when P.O eats a beetle and is singing whilst Jaehyo is measuring the girl dramatically, then U-Kwon and Jaehyo are playing some game (it looks like it could be a card game) with the girl and another man who decides to beat U-Kwon up and has a gun and the scene is similar to the one from Nillili Mambo. This happens within 30 seconds and is quite a bit to take in, but I must say that P.O's singing sounds very good and U-Kwon looks very good-looking with black hair ...(ahem)

I love how the music at the chorus changes slightly from the old-fashioned-fairground-but-also-a-bit-jazzy type based sound to a more funkier and faster paced one and shows part of the choreography as well as Taeil attempting to eat the girl but is given a spoon by her and he walks off admiring it. (He's like the same height as the girl!!)

We then return back to the fairground type sound for the hook and we have the girl trying to escape. Why do they want her? From the mv it looks like they just want to dress her up in different outfits. Hiding behind a car that immediately drives away doesn't seem to help her and next thing we know is that Kyung is throwing knives at her during his rap. I love how his raps usually have a bit of a melody to them to add something more to it and also to make it different to Zico's and P.O's (if he was rapping in the song).

At this point I started to wonder if maybe they're trying to make her join their circus and I wondered why I didn't notice this earlier (probably because of P.O and that beetle...and when did Kyung start showing his legs??)

B-Bomb is next and is seeing how this outfit will look on her whilst she is still trying to get away but is too busy singing to even see how it looks on her.

And then this happened....

Seems like U-Kwon (whilst wearing a wig) is giving the girl a haircut and I don't really want to try and guess what Jaehyo is doing because I'll probably be wrong. Let's just leave it here.

The boys appear all together in suits whilst the girl also appears to be dressed up, the next scenes of them include them showing some of the choreography again but in these suits (thank you to whoever styled them) although Zico's facial expressions help to make this not as serious as it could have been....

The song then becomes jazzy for P.O, Zico and Jaehyo's parts (finally) before the chorus again where it is a big circus kind of event (i don't know, they're outside and there's dancers and fire and everything but not inside a circus ring so I'm a bit confused here). The song comes to an end with some English phrases from P.O and their still in the circus outside place and show some more choreography, but not much. (Too much was going on very fast so I couldn't get a clean screenshot, reason why I don't have one here)

It has ended.. or a similar ending to Nililli Mambo occurs.. the girl flips them off and walks off and the boys (well Zico) gets very angry and chases after her. The pace is fastened a bit and the voices are high pitch to make it funny.

I really enjoyed watching this MV and the song is really good, I had seen that some people didn't think this was as good as 'Very Good' but they're both different songs and are supposed to show and have different elements. 'Very Good' was more powerful but, to me, Jackpot is more fun and the melody is more prominent than the one in 'Very Good'. When I'm listening to the song, I find myself just going to watch the MV because it is very entertaining.

Akdong Musician - AKMU Play : Album Review

I have been waiting for they're debut for so long and I'm pretty sure so many other people have been as well and finally they're here! So I'm going to be reviewing the songs off their debut album, Play.

Give Love - This is really cute (well all of the songs are) especially when they have that small call and response part that they put sometimes in their songs. The melody and lyrics are really sweet and has such a happy feeling. I feel like I should be skipping down the street hugging everyone when I listen to this ...

200% - I love the beach and holiday features in the song to help make it a summery song with a happy vibe, the MV turned out to be quite sad at the end but, again, it's really cute and sweet and I've found myself humming the chorus because it's so catchy.

얼음들 (Melted) - I think this is my favourite of the whole album even though it is sad and it sounds sad and maybe that's why I like it? They'e voices sound so good, the melody sounds so good, the music is really good, I just really like it. When Chan Hyuk does the rap part in it, it just makes it even better (I really like this song really really really, i need to calm down)

지하철에서 (On the Subway) - !!!!! It's such a relaxed and laid back cute song with just their voices and the guitar. I have listened to this to listen to when I do studying and it's good to help concentrate because it's really relaxed.

가르마 (Hair Part) - This has quite of a jazzy feeling and again this is also very relaxing but also sounds entertaining (? I don't really understand but it's the best word I could think of). When I'm listening to the album I normally forget about this song but I really enjoy listening to it.

인공잔디 (Artificial Grass) - It has sounds of outside and children playing in the background and it makes me really happy, I haven't looked up the translated lyrics but it sounds such a happy, light-hearted song that it makes me smile when I listen to it.

안녕 (Don't Hate Me) - This one is quite stripped back and simple like 'On the Subway' but has a sadder and more lonely feeling to it. I also really like listening to this when I'm studying because of the way it is simple.

작은별 (Little Star) - I always get this melody stuck in my head and it's a really sweet, cute song. I love the piano behind their voices and the way their voices sound in this as well.

길이나 (Anyway) - Another sweet song, but this is really joyful and has some of their conversations in which is always really cute and when they almost whisper at one part and it becomes quiet reminds me of how cute they're songs are. I really like this one and is one of my favourites of the album.

소재 (Idea) - I love how this one is very different and they still pull it of and it is still really cute. It's more electronic and has different instruments added than their other ones.

Galaxy - Another sweet song and it's also really cute. I really love the guitar and the other instruments with the 'jungle' kind of drums and it really helps to add a night time feel to the song for me. It's a really enjoyable song and this is also one of my favourites in the album.

2NE1 COME BACK HOME MV REVIEW

I'm posting this a bit later than I was going to because I have had no words for the mv since it came out. I'm just recovering. I prefer Come Back Home, both the mv and the song, rather than Happy which is why I am only doing this one. Just to let you know, I'm not going to do a full in depth review and look at each scene, I'm just going to be doing a review on what I thought of the mv and the song.

The first time I watched this I didn't understand what was happening, I knew there was a sad world with Dara and her boyfriend but then I didn't really know after that. So basically this 'virtual paradise' is like a get-away from the real world, which you can see doesn't look as bright or as happy and has loads of dull buildings. YG said that this was to show how people nowadays spend their time on the Internet and it's a bit like escaping the real worlds problems and actually living in the real world. I think it was a great idea to show it this way and add a futuristic theme to it as if this is what could happen in the future.

What I love is how 2NE1 are like the rebel group who oppose this virtual world, this part reminds me a bit of the Hunger Games books when Katniss and the other people part of the rebellion (sorry it's been a while since I read them) are hacking into the capital, only 2NE1 are stopping the promotions of this virtual world (CL stopping the advertisement of it)

I saw a lot of comments about the part where in the song the bass drops and it goes through the sequence thing (not sure what to call it) about how it wasn't that necessary or it was a bit weird especially when it repeats but I think that it brings your attention back to the song again and listen to the music. I also think that you couldn't really fit anything in with that part because it is quite dubstep-like and doesn't have singing other than 'come back home' and Dara's 'come baby baby'

I also really like how afterwards it still keeps you listening to the song but also has the story in and you see that Dara has joined them to go against the virtual paradise because her boyfriend has become a part of it. This is one of my favourite parts in the song because all the electronic sounds have been stripped off and CL's rap shows more of the feeling of the song as well as the futuristic theme.

Then it goes back to the story and shows memories of Dara and her boyfriend together and then the members going through with their plot to destroy the virtual paradise. I love the way it's got a positive atmosphere until CL, Minzy and Dara are doing what they need to be doing whilst Bom is distracting everyone in the virtual paradise and there's fire and smoke and food everywhere and it looks like a rebellion is happening and then all walk away from the scene as if it's just another day at work done (i'm getting a bit emotional over this right now......it's so goooooodd) and then it repeats again through the dubstep sequence again bringing us back to the song again. Then the 4 of them are leading a crowd as if they have won and defeated the virtual paradise.

I'm not sure if they have defeated the virtual paradise because it seems as though they do because it looks like the panels are coming off the roofs of the buildings and then it zooms out again to the real world.
I suppose it could show that now they are back in the real world this is what they have to deal with?
I suppose it's open to your own interpretation which is always good and makes your think more about it than even films with resolved endings.


I don't know how many times I have watched the mv since it was released but I've been watching it at school and in lessons as well (good thing I haven't been caught yet).

When you're watching the mv, and mv's with more of a story line to it instead of something else which focuses on the song, you don't focus on the song, which is why I liked how the sequence when the dubstep part happened made you realise what was happening to the music.


When I actually listened to this for the first after watching the mv I noticed the reggae and off-beat style of the song to begin with, after the charm/music box sound, and I love how Minzy and CL's voices fit so well with the style.

The music changes a lot in the song but it isn't really noticeable because it flows into each of the different parts. I only noticed it when it was CL's rap part and it goes to just the guitar and the strings and then back to how it was when it began that the style changes a lot and quite frequently, I think this might be why I love it so much.
